Off-Site Lessons
Off site lessons are usually the clients wanting groundwork help, but I still do riding & trailer loading lessons as well! Ground work consists of helping you understand how to gain control and respect on the ground. If your horse pushes you around or is in your space a lot, it's probably because he does not respect you at all. You need to have respect on the ground first before you can ever have respect under saddle. I will show you a few exercises to get that respect! I have strong beliefs that groundwork helps the connection between horse and rider.
My trailer loading sessions are a lot of fun to watch and eventually I have you do it as well so you get the feeling of what to do if you come across another horse that doesn't load for you. Having a horse that doesn't load right away sucks in every way possible, so, my sessions will guarantee you a horse that will load that same day. The method I use works on most horses. I have not yet had a horse that wouldn't load. Some take 20 minutes and some take 1 hour and up. It all depends on how much they want to be difficult. Again, I love helping people and horses so by helping one get their horse loaded, which is a very simple thing for them to do, is a promising reward.
